Mitchell Photography, formerly Classic Touch Productions, was born as a philanthropic endeavor in which James Mitchell offered his photography services at no charge to encourage donations to local volunteer rescue departments, including a free 10x13 color family portrait to members of the community who compassionately donate to volunteer rescue departments. Those donations are applied to life-saving tools and equipment that serve the community in emergency situations.
With more than 20 years experience in the photography industry, Mr. Mitchell is a proud member of the PPA (Professional Photographers of America), and former member of the KPPA (Kentucky Professional Photographers Association).
Although James Mitchell still dedicates his craft in service of volunteer rescue departments, his photography business has evolved to include high-quality specialty sessions that encompass maternity and newborn photography, high school senior portraits, engagement and wedding pictures, and family photography.
Mitchell Photography Studio originally opened its doors with a grand opening in Bowling Green, Kentucky in 2009 with full support for the Warren County Rescue Department. Eight years later in 2017, James Mitchell and Mitchell Photography relocated to Berea, Kentucky where he continues his work in Berea, Richmond with Madison County Rescue and surrounding areas and rescue departments.
In Berea, Mitchell Photography offers studio and outdoor photography sessions that continue to emanate classic elegance with a modern edge.
