We are back from Imaging USA in New Orleans, and man, did we have a great time!! Wendi describes New Orleans in two words: sensory overload! One of the speakers at Imaging USA, Jack Davis, was quoted as saying, "Bourbon Street makes Las Vegas look like a sand box!"

Although we did make it downtown for a few artsy photographs and sight-seeing tourist adventures, the majority of our time was spent in seminars, classes, and workshops from world-famous photographers who offered instruction in such genres as newborn photography, high school senior portraits, wedding photography and posing, lighting, and so much more! As professional photographers, we joined with ten thousand other photographers who share our belief system that continued education and staying up-do-date on the latest trends and fashions in photography is the best way to offer the highest quality service to our valued clients and potential customers.

We had a wonderful time sharing casual, impromptu iphone snapshots via our Facebook page during our travels, but will be spending time in the coming days processing the portraits we took with our DSLR cameras and sharing those with you as well.

We've got more great news... Mitchell Photography Studio is moving! We've located an adorable boutique-style location on Broadway Avenue in Bowling Green, directly across from Blue Cotton. We'll be working on remodeling and designing that location through February, and anticipate a Grand Opening on March 1st 2012. The new location offers a larger waiting room, a fabulous camera room, media room, showcase area, and enough space for a few small outdoor sets! Watch our Facebook Page and website for updates and potential pictures of the remodeling efforts!

We'll be traveling again a bit in February as our local photography association, Pro Photo Network, has its expo in Cincinnatti the 2nd-4th -- and our first grandchild is due to be born February 7th in Alabama, so we're prepared to take a little time off in honor of our new grandson, Payton. We'll post news and updates as these special events draw near.
